Tottenham Hotspur were involved in another Premier League game for the ages, as West Ham scored three goals in the last fifteen minutes to salvage a point from nowhere.

Elsewhere on Sunday, Ross Barkley scored a late winner for Aston Villa as they remained on maximum points, while there were 1-1 draws at Bramall Lane and Selhurst Park.

Tottenham Hotspur 3-3 West Ham United

José Mourinho’s Tottenham kept up their high-scoring form of late as they went 3-0 up in double-quick time thanks to some free-flowing attacking football.

Son Heung-min gave the hosts the lead from a brilliant Kane pass inside the first minute to move level with Dominic Calvert-Lewin at the top of the Premier League scoring charts.

The South Korean returned the favour not long afterwards, setting up Kane to make it 2-0, before the England striker headed in from Sergio Reguillón’s cross to put the North London club further clear.

The first-half was seen off without many questions posed by West Ham, although the Hammers did show some signs of life when Pablo Fornals headed over with the goal gaping.

Fabián Balbuena’s third Premier League goal gave them some hope, but a point still seemed near-impossible at that stage.

However, Davinson Sánchez’s own goal set up a grandstand finish, and after Gareth Bale missed a chance to seal it on his second Spurs debut, Manuel Lanzini fired in to spark delirious celebrations amongst the visiting players.

It was a glimpse of Lanzini’s undoubted talent, but incredibly his first Premier League goal for seventeen months.

Leicester City 0-1 Aston Villa

Ross Barkley continued his great start to life in an Aston Villa shirt with a 90th-minute winner that saw Dean Smith’s men make it four wins out of four and move up to 2nd in the early table.

The late goal ensured that there have still been no goalless draws in the Premier League campaign so far.

Leicester struggled to create chances, and manager Brendan Rogers came under some criticism for leaving exciting forward Cengiz Ünder on the bench.

Foxes fans will be hoping for a better performance on Thursday when they host Zorya Luhansk in their first Europa League/UEFA Cup game for 20 years.

Crystal Palace 1-1 Brighton & Hove Albion

The M23 derby finished all square after Alexis Mac Allister’s late equaliser salvaged a point for the Seagulls.

Graham Potter would’ve had the right to feel slightly unlucky with Brighton’s results before the international break. They only picked up one win despite some good performances.

It looked like that pattern would continue with Wilfried Zaha’s penalty appearing enough for Palace despite that being their only shot of note in the game.

However, Mac Allister popped up with his first Premier League goal and they managed to hold on despite Lewis Dunk’s red card.

Sheffield United 1-1 Fulham

These two sides both picked up their first point of the season as Aleksandar Mitrović almost single-handedly denied his side the win.

The Serbian talisman missed a penalty in the second half, which looked to be insignificant when Ademola Lookman scored a fantastic solo goal to give the Cottagers the lead.

Mitrović conceded a penalty less than ten minutes later, which Billy Sharp dispatched to leave Sheffield United the happier with a point.
