BEST PREMIER LEAGUE RELEASED 11: WOULD THIS TEAM SURVIVE THE DROP - FERNANDINHO AND ROMERO INCLUDED

The end of the Premier League season means the end of Englands top division for many players, with over 100 individuals included on the leagues released list this year.

But among the giant list of: veterans, squad players and championship level talents, hide star players that could still prove to be Premier league worthy.

So, could this Premier League released 11 of the best quality talents now available for free survive the drop? Or make a shock European push?

FORMATION: 4-4-2

Goalkeeper: Sergio Romero

I wouldn't be too surprised if we saw a fair bit more from some of these released goalkeepers in the Premier League over the next few years, with some underrated and forgotten talents departing their clubs this summer.

Tottenham's Paulo Gazzaniga was close to becoming first choice for this team, but would only make the bench once more - something I'm sure he's looking to get far away from.

Wolverhampton's John Ruddy came in as third choice, with the veteran player being a solid back up option for cups.

But, Manchester United's forgotten man in the shape of Sergio Romero takes the starting spot.

The 34-year-old Argentine professional footballer, has finally seen his six year stay in Manchester come to an end after just 61 appearances.

Despite never making his claim for the starting spot during his tenure at Old Trafford, his impressive 39 clean sheets means he walks into this side - just as I expect he will with a real team fairly soon.

Defence: Ryan Bertrand, David Luiz, Eric Garcia, Danny Rose

A whole host of Premier League veterans saw their time at their current sides end this month, with the likes of Crystal Palace duo Gary Cahill and Mamadou Sakho joining Leicester legend Wes Morgan on the released list.

However, that trio unfortunately miss out this time to the defence centre-back paring of David Luiz and Eric Garcia.

Brazil star David Luiz has so far endured a career spanning 13 seasons, making over 520 club appearances, 69 of which have come at Arsenal since joining in 2019.

The former PSG and Chelsea man has become a Premier League staple since joining Chelsea in 2011. Hence why I believe next too soon to be Barcelona man Eric Garcia, this side could easily compete in Englands top division.

Covering the defensive flanks and providing that attacking support in wide areas, are two players well versed with Premier League and English football.

Enter Ryan Bertrand and Danny Rose.

Both players have marked their trade playing in the left-back position for both club and country, but the experience should allow one of them to easily adapt to life as a right-back.

With a defence of two former Chelsea men, a former Spurs player and an up coming Barca man, this defence could provide more cover than some current Premier league sides.

Midfield: Theo Walcott, Fernandinho, John Lundstram, Andros Townsend

In a move that would shock football, Man City club captain Fernandinho is apart of the released list.

Reports suggest that he has been offered a new 12 month deal, but as it stands the Brazilian is leaving the Etihad this month.

Fernandinho will be partnered in this squad with Sheffield United John Lundstram, who is probably the smallest name in this team.

The central midfielder has been linked with Rangers, as Steven Gerrard looks to strengthen his title winning side.

On the LW is Andros Townsend, one of Crystal Palaces 22 players to be named on the release list.

The English winger has spent the past five years at Selhurst Park, making over 160 appearances for the Eagles.

And at only 29 he could still have a future in the Premier League.

On the other wing, is Premier League legend Theo Walcott.

Following over 270 appearances for Arsenal in a 12 year spell, the former English international will be released from Everton three years after joining.

In October last year, Walcott was loaned back to boyhood club Southampton, where he will return to following his release.

Strikers: Sergio Aguero, Josh King

In a move that requires no explanation, Sergio Aguero is one of the two players to lead the line.

The Man City legend will no doubt one day be added to the Premier League Hall of Fame and La Liga fans can count themselves lucky to watch him next season.

The Argentine international has signed a pre contract deal with Spanish giants Barcelona, just like fellow City team mate Eric Garcia.

Alongside the future Barca man is former Bournemouth and soon to be former Everton striker Joshua King.

King joined Everton for a nominal fee on deadline day this January, but failed to make a single start, scoring no goals in 11 substitute appearances.

Despite this poor run of form, he is still attracting attention from the likes of long-term admirers Newcastle.

Belief in the Norwegian international is still said to be high, as shown by me including the 29-year-old in this team.
